After the Under-17 National Team secured their place in the European Championship finals, the Under-19s will have the same task starting Thursday. Tomorrow, they will travel to Belgium with the aim of booking their place at the finals to be held in Georgia between 2nd and 15th July.
The 18 Azzurrini players called up by Roberto Baronio remained in Pomezia yesterday evening and they will train this afternoon. The opening fixture is against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday at 19:00 CEST. On Saturday 25th March, Italy play the hosts Belgium at 15:00 CEST before facing Sweden on Tuesday 28th March at 19:00 CEST. All three matches will be at the Gemeentelijk Stadium in Hamme which is a community of around 25,000 people in East Flanders.
