There’s less than a week to go before the Women’s Under-19 National Team’s most important moment of the season with the European Championship set to be held in Switzerland between 18th and 30th July. The Azzurrine have been working hard at the Olympic Preparation Centre in Formia where they have been since last Sunday and today they were visited by the FIGC’s Extraordinary Commissioner Roberto Fabbricini, Vice Commissioner Alessandro Costacurta and CEO Michele Uva who greeted the players and wished them luck before their departure next Monday.
The Under-19 Women’s National Team won their only European title ten years ago and they will make their first appearance on Wednesday 18th July against the Netherlands at 18:15 CEST. On Saturday 21st July, the side will meet Denmark in Yverdon at 15:00 CEST before the final group stage match on Tuesday 24th July in Yverdon against Germany at 18:15 CEST. The top two sides from each group will make the semi-finals.
