Following their 1-1 draw against France on February 7th in Ploufragan and their 3-1 win over the Netherlands on March 23rd in Biella, the Under-18 National Team will now face Hungary in a friendly on Wednesday 18th April. This will be the first time in history that the Azzurrini have played at the Stadio Comunale in Abano Terme.
Coach Daniele Franceschini has called up 20 players for the encounter, who’ll first take part in a training camp in Abano Terme. The team will gather on Sunday 15th April before then taking part in two training sessions on Monday. There have previously been seven meetings with Hungary, with Italy recording four wins, one draw and two defeats. The last match between the two teams took place in March 2015, with the Under-18s winning 4-0 during a friendly played out in Telki.
