With just over a month to go until the European Championship, the Under-19 National Team will continue their preparations at Milanello from Tuesday 12th to Sunday 17th June.
Nicolato’s side qualified for the competition after a run of five wins and a draw, beating the likes of Germany and Spain along the way. They’ve been placed in Group A for the tournament in Finland, competing against the hosts, Portugal and Norway.
The top two sides from the two groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The tournament also has five places at the 2019 Under-20 World Cup in Poland at stake. The four semi-finalists and the winner of the playoff between the two third-place sides from the two groups along with the home side will take part in the World Cup between 25th May and 16th June next year.
