Today marks the start of the second week of training for Italy’s Beach Soccer team, as they continue their preparations for the forthcoming World Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 27th April to 7th May in the Bahamas. On Monday afternoon Massimo Agostini’s 14 players took part in their first training session, whilst they will then take part in double training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday. Their final session will occur on Thursday morning, brining to a close this latest training camp.
The Azzurri will make the World Cup debut on Thursday 27th April (18:30 local time) against Nigeria. Saturday 29th will see them take on Iran, whilst their final group game will be against Mexico on May 1st (15:30).
