First stage of the Euroleague in Baku, ten called up before opening fixture

The summer is coming and the Beach Soccer team’s season will begin in Baku for the first stage of qualification to the Euro Beach Soccer League between 22nd and 24th June. 

New Coach Emiliano Del Duca has called ten players up for the trip to Azerbaijan where Italy won silver three years ago in the first European Games. Italy will gather on Sunday 17th June in Terracina. Italy will be in Group 2 of Division A with the opening fixture against Germany on Friday 22nd June before playing Ukraine on Saturday 23d June and Switzerland on Sunday 24th June. All matches will be at 17:15 local time or 14:15 CEST. 

At the weekend, activity began in the 15th edition of Serie Aon from the FIGC-LND. The season began on the beach of Poetto a Quartu Sant’Elena (CA) and the Euro Beach Soccer League finals will also be in Sardinia 6th and 9th September.
