Goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari, the defenders Raoul Bellanova, Davide Bettella, and the midfielder Sandro Tonali have all made the 2019 UEFA Euro top 11 that was picked by the coaches Jarmo Maitikainen (Finland) and Làszlò Szalai (Hungary). Among the players on the bench are the midfielder Nicolò Zaniolo and forward Moise Kean who was the tournament’s second top scorer of five goals behind the Portuguese duo of Joao Filipe and Trincao who both scored five. In the team, the finalists Italy and Portugal both had four players reach, France had two and Ukraine one.
