Ahead of their participation in the fourteenth edition of the Tournament of Nations, Italy’s Under-15 side will first gather in the province of Gradisca d’Isonzo on Sunday.
Coach Antonio Rocca has called up a total of 20 Azzurrini for the tournament, which will comprise of an additional 11 Under-15 sides who will be split into three groups. This year will also see eight women’s teams included, which will be then divided into two groups. Italy’ Under-16 side will feature in the competition.
Rocca’s squad will make their debut against Portugal on Tuesday 25 (Stadio Comunale di Gradisca d’Isonzo at 17:30 CEST), whilst they will then take on Japan on Wednesday 26 (stadio Comunale di Gorizia at 18:00 CEST on Wednesday 26). Their final group fixture will be against the United Arab Emirates on Thursday 27 (Stadio Comunale di Gradisca d’Isonzo at 11:00 CEST). The semi-finals will be played on Saturday 29, whilst the final will be held on May 1.
