2018 will start with a training camp for the Under-19 Women’s National Team from Sunday 14th to Wednesday 17th January at the Giulio Onesti Olympic Preparation Centre in Rome. 20 Azzurrine players have been called up by Enrico Sbardella with Jesina forward Maddalena Porcarelli the only new face among the Under-19s.
At the beginning of March, Italy will take part in the La Manga tournament in Spain to prepare for the Elite Round of the European Championship, due to take place from April the 2nd to the 8th of April. Sbardella’s side will face hosts Scotland, Russia and the Czech Republic.
