Under-21: Italy’s friendly against Slovenia rescheduled for September 4th

The friendly fixture between Italy’s Under-21 side and Slovenia has been brought forwards a day and will now take place on Monday 4th September at the Stadio Piercesare Tombolato in Cittadella (21:15 CEST).

The Azzurrini will be back playing in the Veneto four-and-a-half years after their last friendly in Cittadella against Russia on 22nd March 2013 which ended as a 2-0 win thanks to Immobile and Insigne goals. Italy Under-21s have faced Slovenia seven times previously with six wins and one draw. The most recent victories were a 1-0 result in Reggio Emilia and a 3-0 in Koper in qualification for the 2017 European Championship in Poland.
